CURATORSHIP AS MOTHERHOOD – EITHER IS OR NOT
I STARTED MANAGING CREATIVE EVENTS FROM THE YEARS 12

an Obstacle Course
In the world of art, organization is key—much like an obstacle course, if something isn’t foreseen, the result can be compromised. Some of the most interesting and demonstrative projects I’ve led include Design Day at Polygraph, where a simple student event for designers evolved into a full-fledged festival in 2017, a school of performing arts for adults in Lviv, and, of course, the international projects of the Art Cluster.
I founded the Art Cluster in 2018 in Lviv as a project to support women. Over the first two years, the Art Club transformed into a fully-fledged cluster. By 2019, we were on a national calendar, and in 2020, we went international, co-organizing events such as “Days of Culture in Kaunas” in Lithuania. In the same year, we proudly secured 3rd place in the independent all-Ukrainian competition “Blagodijna Ukraine” for our contributions to the arts.
My curatorial experience spans 16 exhibitions—local, national, and international—primarily focused on older children. I have organized over 200 volunteer events for children at the Lviv Media Center and participated in numerous cultural festivals, including the Festival of Crafts in 2018, the School Culture Congress at the Lyceum of the Director of the School in 2019, Instrumfest 2020, Festival Parajanova 2021, and the regional festival “Divosvit.”
I have also established a fruitful partnership with the Zaporuk Charitable Foundation, organizing fundraising events and helping to paint walls in wards for children with cancer. Additionally, I developed an art rehabilitation project specifically for their mothers.
Unique projects:
After February 24, 2022, the active participants of the Art Cluster scattered around the world, saving their children. However, the creative spirit remained strong. In Poznan, I led the formation of a new group that actively participated in city fairs and held numerous master classes. We also organized a performance group that engaged in both independent and collaborative productions with Polish artists. Our activities included unique master classes and cultural evenings that continued for seven months
Signature Projects:
- Art Therapy for Mothers of Children with Cancer: Providing a creative outlet for emotional healing.
- Regional Festival “Wonderful World”: Celebrating regional art and culture.
- Performance “Women’s Fears”: A powerful expression of women’s inner struggles.
- Ukrainian Art Week: The largest project, featuring 8 diverse events across Poznan, including an international concert at the Imperial Castle, a day of performances at the Dragon, a children’s exhibition-competition, a presentation of contemporary poetry, and an auction to raise funds for the Ukrainian Military Rehabilitation Center.
